About me

Hello!

My name is Emily Salisbury, I'm 21 years old and a fourth year in college in Rochester, NY where I'm majoring in Illustration and doing an immersion in Film Studies. I'm originally from Albany, New York where I live with my Mom, Dad, younger brother, and younger sister. I love music, fashion, theatre, movies, and most of all, making art.

I've been drawing since I was a toddler where I would fill hundreds of pages of my notebooks with drawings of my favorite cartoon characters on TV, and then in middle school I began making marker illustrations of cartoons inspired by artists on social media, I was even able to win a few contests, design brochures, and t-shirts of various events in my area. Now in college I still enjoy drawing cartoons which led to finding my love for doing more design based work and creating my own concepts for stories, which I hope to pursue as a career someday.

I created this website with the hope to get my work and name out in the art world, as well as providing potential employers with an easy way to view my body of work.
