About me

Hello!

My name is Emily Salisbury, I'm 20 years old and a third year of college in Rochester, NY where I'm majoring in Illustration and doing an immersion in Film Studies. I'm originally from Albany, New York where I live with my Mom, Dad, younger brother, and younger sister. I love music, fashion, theatre, movies, and most of all, making art.

I've been drawing since I was a toddler where I would fill hundreds of pages of my notebooks with drawings of my favorite cartoon characters on TV, and then in middle school I began making marker illustrations of cartoons inspired by artists on social media, I was even able to win a few contests, design brochures, and t-shirts of various events in my area. Now in college I still enjoy drawing cartoons which led to finding my love for doing concept artwork and character design, which I hope to pursue as a career someday.

I created this website with the hope to get my work and name out in the art world.
